Saving parameters in animations

I love to use the overnight hours to have my computer render batches of fractals while I sleep.  It seems that I could use the animation feature to store images that I want to render as I play during the day and have it render them (with no images between the key flames) overnight.  But I would still like to have the fractal parameters saved with each fractal with a shared file name.  Can an option be added to save the txt version of each animated image or each key frame in the animated image as it progresses through them?  I could then use my existing routines to load those parameters into the JPG comments for sharing on Flickr.
