  It's made using "stringymode", something that creates cool... stringy spiky things.

I was thinking about spinning the fractal around, but ended up not doing it due to laziness... 

 I'm slightly pleased that I didn't do it because I find it more hypnotic when the fractal just sits there... morphing.  Of course, I have the original avi files to repeat, and they aren't blurry like youtube's re-render, which makes for a much more hypnotic experience.  maybe.

  I never really messed with the whole fractal like that, I would always zoom way in and just alter it (timing or rotations) a bit (looking for complicated features).

  I am posting an updated set of my formulas (no help files yet.. sorry) to ChaosPro's database.  It includes a formula for Tom Lowe's Mandelbox and my Amazing Hybrid D/B (also 4d versions of both) under the sub heading "Tom Lowe's Mandelbox and Benesi's Variations".  For the 4-dimensional versions, input time values in C2.  You'll notice low time values work for r2d2 and d2 (depending on the number of rotations/magnitude), and time values have a slight "wrap around" in the Box and Hybrid (0 = 2 is approximately = to 4 for fold value of 2), although it's a bit more complicated than that.
