Hi there, this is my first post here. I hope it’s the correct topic, otherwise it would be nice if an admin could move it

My name is Philip and i’m a Berlin-based Motion Designer. I studied at the btk (Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule) and graduated in march. My subject was about visual communication of fractals in media spaces.
First of all i want to thank all of you for your stunning work and for living the beauty of cyber-culture. Pushing art and science independently, free and helpful in this way is a pleasure to see and filling me with optimism. I would love to share my thesis with you, but unfortunately it is in german only. Maybe i’ll find someone who’s interested in translating it, and maybe i’ll do a video about the narrative. It is a concept for my BA-project, an full-dome installation with 360° renderings of the Amazing Surface and includes the basic history of the formulas, the paradigm shift of the view of reality, the interdisciplinary professionalism of mathematics, programmers and artists and the need to communicate this science visually to as many people as possible. And of cause about you and the power and beauty of cyber-culture.
I’ll do an extra post with links to the renderings i made for my thesis and the software i created to do full-dome installations in rectangle rooms soon, but i have to fix a few things first

I’m a little ashamed that during my research i tried tons of parameters i found on deviantart to find useful structures and twisted, mixed and simply used them without making notes about the credits. My biggest thanks to batjorge, dark-beam, kali, tglad, Undead-Academy and everyone i forgot. And i’m a little ashamed about being to shy and lazy to communicate more and share my knowledge as you do, i’ll change that

Download the thesis (german) and a snippet of my installation here:
