Metaphase

I really liked "Mitosis" which Pauldelbrot just posted. It reminded me of a couple of things I've made that I've called "Metaphase".

Here is an reduced-size (for upload) old still image of the end-point of my "Metaphase" animation. It's not really meant to be pretty, just to illustrate the structure.

The same kind of idea was also used to make my animation "Metaphase Variation 1".
