I made this .m3l collection after I realised that there is not much publicly aviable colour files unless you do them by yourself, and becouse after finding good fractal spot it's pretty easy to just slice colours and look, which fitts the best.

Colour palettes are derived from different sources, some are my original creations, some are other peoples colours, but wast majority are ultimately traced back to Fractint public collection. As in Fractint all visual effects depends solelly on premade colour palettes, it have quite a few atmospheric time tested colour files like reptilian "dragon" or bunch of gradients simulating metallic shine.
p.s.
Colours are never too much.

EDITED:

Additional 16  Mandelbulb3D colours and lights ( EM_Mandelbulb3D_Colours_2.zip ).

I made additional colour collection, becouse first one lacked certain things. First, there weren't rainbow colours. Second, since it was derived from Fractint public colection, it was very colourfull, but IMHO had not enought natural, earthy and pastel palettes. Third, I had rugged hybrids, which whom only some colours fitted. And fourth, menger fractals like colour on 2. choice. Here I concentrated of having quality ower quantity.

Do and include these .m3l whatever and how you like.

Added 16 more colours so together there is 60 different colours. I found unsophisticated PWC Ultra Fractal / Fractint colourmaps qute an usefull, and added some more natural tones.

Corel Photo Paint had some colour gradients for fill tool. At copyrights copyrighted were pantotene colors and "traditional colours of Nippon" but not these, and this is not comercial + some other colours and fog effect .m3l files. All were tested on some rotboxes. Didn't wanted make this especialy big package.

So EM_Mandelbulb3D_Colours_3.zip with 17 new colour files.

Thanks for a kind words.
Hmm, credits, I don't know. I do have deviant art profile http://edo555.deviantart.com/ but I use it more like as artless upload service, and I prefare my youtube channel instead http://www.youtube.com/user/antifacio

However, maybe a link to this thread would be more usefull, as this have 3 zip files, and I alsou had an idea of making colours based on Mark Rothko paintings.
