Competition 2012 - Statistics

Ok, i have created some nice stats about the fifth annual fractalforums.com competition that i would like to show you, and that i am going to use for the tvshow as well,

Contestant development

five years ago it started slowly, with 18 contestants, dipped down 15, and after the comming out of the mandelbulb contestants went through
the roof steadily, developed from 41 contestants in 2010, 58 in 2011 and this year we had the enormous amount of 69 contestants competing
for a cup of coffe





Enty count development

entries are developing quite well, starting with a tough entry count of 50 in year 2008, and 60 in year 2009, since coming out of the bulb, this
is as well developing quite well, coming from 131 entries in 2010, and 168 entries in 2011 we are now at the enormous amount of 199 entries
to be reviewed and enjoyed during the compo





Total Ratings development

the total rating count marks the acceptance and interest of the public that the contest attracts, this year we had a total of 2142 given votes
at a total, which is not as remarkably compared to the previous year, with a vote count of 1835, but it shows that many many people really
take their times and review the entries, which is quite nice




Average Vote Count per image development

the average vote count per image is dipping, and the reason for this is that the votes do not grow exactly with the images, but it can be said
that a stable amount of 10 votes per image is quite remarkable, and the best of the best usually get more than 20 votes ...



Average Rating development

and last but not least i include the average rating development, although it is dipping from the beginning, the overall quality of the contest
seems to go up slightly reaching an average of 3,5 this year, compared to 3,3 in 2011 and 2,95 in 2010 it is a steady upward movement
