hi folks,

I don't know what happened here but I got a render figure that was cranking up by the second.
It was up to 18000+ days by the time I managed to get the thing to exit. As good as M3D is,
I don't think waiting around for over 49 years for a single picture is quite worth it.

Had to take a pic (see below) cus I cudna believe it.

Anyone else seen this kind of glitch?

Sounds like you found parameter settings that produce an infinite loop.....

Have you been dividing by zero again?

How many times have your Mother and I told you about that??

Seen it a few times, always my fault for doin something stupid like having 2 decimal points in one of the Render settings or negative Limiter setting or some other kind of Fatfingering of something.

Hah. it seems I'm in an executive club, then.

I can't recall quite what I did, I just panicked as infinity loomed and clawed my way out.

Any parameters?

Hi Jesse,

I don't think the parameters would be too helpful, really.  I've since tried again what I think I was doing - and just got a bigger picture.

If I recall correctly, I think I was attempting to render a x2 enlargement of a keyframe (or subframe) to 3840x2160 and then added x3 anti-aliasing - nothing particularly unusual - but I MAY (as lenord suggests) have 'fat fingered' the sizes and made them enormous, I'm not sure (?) As I say, I panicked after that because it would not give me back control.
