Hi all!
I just start to understand a little bit mandelbulber but still a lot to learn.

Both made with Mandelbulber 1.04, around 4-5 min each to render... and the CPU user to the limit.
Is that due to the fog options, formulae seems to be simple (is a simple sponge box).
Looking forward to test mandelbuilder3d, seems to run faster for same set-up.
Any way, C&C are welcome for fractal frenetic 'cool look' search and render quality

Nice first posts.

To answer your question I believe the software is going to max out the cpu on everything it does.  That is by design, to get the best rendering speed.

I think you can lower it in various ways depending upon your operating system, but there's no need.  It should allow other things to use as much of the processor time as they need and still use all the rest in the background   

I use Mandelbulb3D, never could get Mandelbulber to fit into my tiny little brain's way of thinking.  Still meaning to give it another shot if life ever calms down enough...

Yes, is the calculation process challenging the CPU.
Regarding Modelbulb3D updates, I have some suggestion -mostly from user point of view- Is there a place where I can made those suggestion? I notice is improved constantly, now at 1.7.2.0 version...
