DOWNLOAD

chaotica version 0.41 can be downloaded here (non-commercial use, 1920 x 1920 resolution limit):

32 bit windows: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3038174/chaotica_0.41_win32_noncommercial.zip
64 bit windows: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3038174/chaotica_0.41_win64_noncommerical.zip

the 64 bit version is faster but cannot use apophysis dll plugins, relying instead on the 91 built-in variations (see variation_compatibility.xml for an alphabetical list).

USAGE

chaotica is best used in conjunction with apophysis 7x15 by xyrus:, you can grab it from his website: http://apophysis.xyrus-worx.net/#grab

after apophysis has been installed and chaotica extracted (eg to the desktop, c:\chaotica etc but not to program files), please follow these 2 simple steps to hook up chaotica with apophysis: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3038174/chaotica_path.png http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3038174/chaotica_shortcut.png

to use the 64 bit version, apophysis 7x15 needs to have the x86 chaotica path set to use the 64 bit exe - currently the switching 32/64 bit switching behaviour doesn't work.

for more information please check the readme.txt file.

ETC

please let me know about any bugs you find, thanks! special thanks also to erik reckase and the deviantart fractal community
