While it's enjoying some traffic due to the Daily Deviation today, I thought I'd mention here the recent release of Chaotica 0.73  afro It's both pretty cool and a little embarrassing that a random param generated by Chaotica (with some palette tweaking) can get a DD!

Anyway, there have been so many improvements since the last release, esp in the world editor! Hopefully it's quite fun to play with already, and there are lots of cool features coming soon smiley

Here are the download links:

Windows installer: 32-bit (Apophysis DLL plugin compatible) or 64-bit

Windows portable version (7-zip archive): 32-bit or 64-bit

Mac OSX: 32- and 64-bit

Linux: 32-bit or 64-bit

While not necessarily "evolutionary", what I would like to do is make the partial randomisation functions offer several options, instead of just one at a time smiley It's kind of the same functionality, but I prefer to only randomise some parts at once (eg palette, colouring params, transform params, etc).

Thanks for checking it out! cheesy
