i finally managed to compile the software i use/develop (with Emilo Del Tessandoro) to generate my buddhabroth \o/

you can download it here : http://fractals.s3.amazonaws.com/app/buddha-win-2.zip

if you have an error about missing msvcp100.dll, please install and run the latest vcredist : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=a7b7a05e-6de6-4d3a-a423-37bf0912db84&displaylang=en

the source code (i didn't push the last modification that make it compile on windows, yet), can be found here :
https://github.com/emmmile/buddha

You can find some generated picture with this software, here :
http://www.fractalforums.com/images-showcase-(rate-my-fractal)/buddhabrot-classical-serie/
and here (pictures numbered buddha 1, buddha 2, ... the others are generated with another software) :
http://www.fractalforums.com/images-showcase-(rate-my-fractal)/ker2x's-buddhabrot-gallery/

please report bug and feature requests smiley

by default the iterations are really high.
i suggest testing with :
red : 100 / 500
green : 500 / 1000
blue : 1000 / 2000

it will be much faster smiley

i don't understand.
There is 4 way to zoom :
- change parameters manually in the control window
- draw a square around the area you want to see
- "on cursor" : use the mouse wheel in default mode (zoom x2 under the mouse cursor)
- "on center" : zoom on the center of the screen independently of the mouse cursos position

(and yes, we need to write a documentation  grin )
