fractint for windows problem?

I latest download of fractint is winfract-20.04p10. I'm having trouble running or installing it under Windows 7,
has anyone else encountered this problem or have a workaround?

I tried to download it about the time you posted the question about the problem, also. I tried different web sites I googled to download and it was hit or miss, some ran for 5 minutes, others never even started, (maybe by writing this someone else on this forum may guide you in the right direction to find the unblemished program) that was with both the Windows 7 computer and the XP computer. I gave up on the Windows 7 and finally after 8 downloads, found one that the XP computer ran without glitches or crashes, it seems the program has been uploaded to so many various sites it gets corrupted in the process......? I can't remember where I eventually downloaded mine, threw out about 15 CDs that I tried to put the program on but Norton software said most where broken code or virus's.
