I just had to do an animation of my appreciated "Infinite Rhinoceros Woods" image:

http://mandelwerk.deviantart.com/gall...

This is a just a short test really, I might do a longer version.
I am at the decimal limit of mandelbulb 3D when deepest inside.

Try to keep your eye on something when it zooms back out, it gives a great feeling of the scale.

Mandelbulb 3D

You can also download a DivX version here (but actually the youtube version has better quality...  afro):

Very nice deepzoom Kraftwerk. The color palette is perfect for such a shape. Now I'm really looking forward to a longer version as an xmas gift. You have to make one ! cheesy

I've wanted to see an animation of these tree shapes.  Awesome, as always!  And, very cartoonish.

And, speaking of cartoons, a friend of mine just posted "Kraftwerk Autobahn" from 1973 (the year I was born).  I had never seen such a thing - very trippy - and really quite fractally...   Made me think of you.

This is absolutely phantastic, Kraftwerk. Most of the Mandelbox objects (at least in my experience) are seems to change its shape while zooming (and looks often rusty or boring) and this is really a sort of 3D infinite zoom.

Glad you like it T!
In some areas zooming makes the shapes change, in others they repeat, this is what I like so much about the mandelboxes, the diversity. I makes me able to find a lot of different shapes smiley
