How to comment with 'howto' screenshot images

I think I've just answered my question.
I uploaded some small screen grapbs of a fractal extreme palette file as it was the easiest way to describe how I achieved the colours in a picture.
I get I should have attached the pictures using the additional options. Doh!
I'll try it out here.
Yay it worked.

Excuse me anyone who's shaking their head at the artistic merit of some low quality jpg screen caps.
