Hi, Let me suggest anttweakbar for the HUD. It's excellent even if it haven't been updated since april 2009. I've used it in an old toy project. I've attached a modified fragment shader where I've added yet another Menger sponge formula with some variations (see this thread for details). Actually, what you get by default is a blend between a sphere and a menger sponge. Try key[1] to key[4] to change parameters. the zip contains also the config file and a shortcut (in order to use the provided config instead of the default one). Hope you'll like it .

Wow. That's almost as long as the ending of 2001. And twice as nifty.

Wow. That's almost as long as the ending of 2001. And twice as nifty. Thanks! I totally see the resemblance, especially in the first part. After being frustrated with rendering for a week to get a 2 minute animation, for once, I wanted to make a nice long movie. I can't wait to try some other formulas - if I can find some other fragment.glsl files. Hard to find though... I might try to reprogram my own. I know a bit about programming, but not much about fractal al gore rythms!

I've only found one other one for a sphere/box hybrid thing. Can you point me to any more? (or just post them) It would also help me to program them if I have a bunch of examples. I was looking through the original glsl file tonight at the commented options and stuff, and learning about glsl's...

heh, didn't think anyone would actually try that one, besides bethchen@ Cranking up the glow, eh? Nicely ominous. Find attached a 1522+ shader w/ nicer coloring than just brown. This time actually tested on osx as well; those shader compilers are picky.. Beth's formulas would work nicely with a cut-out view, since the slices expose our regular 2d friends.
