Thanks for the comments smiley Especially I find Kraftwerk's comment funny (about being "dizzy"). That was not my intention of course to make people sick, but it's the same kind of comment I get when I show my work to "non-fractal" people (apart from "What are these horrible pictures ?) cheesygrin

Another funny video of a transforming hybrid mandelbox/menger sponge.
     Done with Mandelbulb 3D

I know that classical music goes well with videos/animations/movies, after all it has been done this way for many decades.  I just never thought about how opera would fit in with fractals.  But, thanks to this video, I now see there is a lot of possibilities here!!!  For example, using Richard Wagner's piece "Walkürenritt or Ritt der Walküren" (Ride of the Valkyries) would be perfect for a Mandelbulb/box zoom.  Or even the Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin.

Now if I can only find the time to put my idea together and have the animation match the music.     wink

BTW what is that piece of music called?  Done by?  Pavarotti?
     Now I want pizza!

That is "La donna è mobile" from Giuseppe Verdi's Rigoletto.  And I believe this particular version is sung by Luciano Pavarotti.  Maybe the one from Jean-Pierre Ponnelle's classic film:

Though I prefer the voice of Enrico Caruso's classic version better.

La donna è mobile
Qual piuma al vento,
Muta d'accento — e di pensiero.

Sempre un amabile,
Leggiadro viso,
In pianto o in riso, — è menzognero.

È sempre misero
Chi a lei s'affida,
Chi le confida — mal cauto il cuore!

Pur mai non sentesi
Felice appieno
Chi su quel seno — non liba amore!

My favorite version of that is the Bugs Bunny / Elmer Fudd Duet - "Kill The Wabbit!"

Hmmm...

Possibilities!

Well, it's not a fractal video...  But it was done to Queen's "Bohemian Rapsody"

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/UN51VU-Zf5M&rel=1&fs=1&hd=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/UN51VU-Zf5M&rel=1&fs=1&hd=1</a>

Kinda off topic.

Sorry.

I'll just praise the Mengerbox Video again, and say that I'm working on something similar - but keep getting "clipping" issues.

Need to fine tune some stuffs.
