I'm thinking of updating my avatar from the Highly Complex Julia Fractal made in Chaoscope (yes - it's really a 0,0,0 Julia!) to a Mandelbulb.

This was my first rough sketch, made in Mandelbulb 3D:



Not good enough to use, even after shrinking and optimizing for minimal file size.  But fun, and good enough to share!

Oh yeah - I know Mandelbulb 3D only animates 1 axis at a time.  I spun the image sequence full circle in postwork.  But more animation features are all this program needs to be even better!
