Professor Robert L. Devaney ("Bob") has had several web pages available since the mid-90's on Boston University's web site.   One of his goals has been to show students and teachers how ideas from modern mathematics (such as chaos, fractals, and dynamics), together with modern technology, can be used effectively in the high school and college curriculum.   He has written several books and papers on such things, and quite a bit of this information may be found online, starting at the following location:

    http://math.bu.edu/people/bob/

In particular are some of the links found on the right-hand side of the above link, entitled:
   •  The Mandelbrot Set Explorer
   •  JAVA Applets for Chaos and Fractals
   •  Chaos, Fractals, and Stoppard's play "Arcadia"
   •  etc...
