Fractals in Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2?

Luma Pictures contacted me some time ago because they wanted to use 3D fractals for a movie project.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to help them at the moment, but I recommended to look for people at this forum.

So, take a look at the background, min. 0:17

It's a 3D fractal, I'm right?

Maybe someone here worked with them?

That isn't a fractal.  It's a completely natural part of the landscape  

Are you trying to destroy the illusion or something??

I refuse to suspend disbelief in my Marvel Super Heroes!!  Every bit of it is real and there is no computer generated imagery at all

Yep. To be completely honest, I was struggling with really bad depression, and fighting an addiction... still slowly recovering.

Unfortunately this opportunitty came in the worst moment of my life.

Also, I acted like a douchebag here in that times. Luma Pictures was interested in M3D's source code and I became paranoid about Luca and Andreas trying to sell it to them. That's why I attacked both of them and wanted the code to be public (Jesse wasn't interested about the movie). So silly. I was crazy. I remember posting things in a very rude mood... even insulting Luca in a pm... that's not me. I wasn't myself.

I needed help, I was in rehab and I'm clean now for more than a year.

I can't believe I missed this chance, but it's more important to be healthy. Life always gives second opportunities.

Sorry for talking about such personal issues, but I just felt like doing it.

aint that the truth.  the real question is, how many sober people look at fractals?

Maybe not sober, but no external chemicals other than ordinary food, water, and air are circulating in my brain. My drug history begins and ends with alcohol poisoning at the age of five. Ever since then, like Obelix, I've had enough for the rest of my life.

I must admit that I do still enjoy a little bit of People Nip when I give my cats their Catnip, but I have seen some cases when it gets out of hand.

Keeping it under control and keeping yourself functioning are the most important things!  If either wavers, then it's time to stop and reevaluate.  Only the individual can decide the correct course of action for themselves at that point - but it's critical to remain self-aware.
