Photospheres in Mandelbulb3d

Hey Guys/Girls

I've been using mandelbulb 3d for a few weeks now on my ubuntu 16 box via wine and it's working a treat, very very impressed indeed, I quite fancied having a go at creating a photosphere that can be used with google cardboard but am struggling to find a tutorial or any information for that matter, I'm not too fussed about animation at this stage as my rig isn't particularly fast, I have created some images already in "panorama"but as soon as I try and view them in anything they aren't recognised as panoramas, bearing in mind I'm running on linux so any windows apps to do the conversion would need to be able to run in Wine, any pointers greatly appreciated
