This is super cool bill, as you hear people want high res, this could even be a superb entry for upcoming contest, however, this is the second image that should be featured by us -the other one is the super high res cinematic mandelbulb pic postet a few compos ago - i think i prepare a dedicated gallerx section soon when i am back from sweet italy holiday for such remarkable resources

wow, thanks everyone for the great responses! cheesy This is something I worked on for a really long time, so it's great to have such good feedback from this forum, because you are the ones I want to impress the most! I do have plans to make it into a poster - I am currently considering doing a Kickstarter campaign to fund the initial print run. I have a website already set up (I would have posted it before but didn't want to be too spammy)... anyways if you go there you can sign up with your email to be notified when the poster is actually available.

hey bill!
good to hear..
why a kickstarter campaign? there are online solutions to produce posters, like zazzle.com
Or you could just take orders on your page (free wordpress plugins available) and then just place that order via one of the many online-foto services, with an extra delivery adress, billing to you?

Whatever you choose - here's your first pre-order.. smiley Please make sure that you have shipping options to europe/germany (that are not more expensive than the poster itself)

edit: oh and I'd recommend posting this to
https://www.reddit.com/r/fractals
and  https://www.reddit.com/r/fractalporn
pretty sure this will spark quite some interest there.
when you're ready (if you don'T have a reddit account yet, make sure to build up a normal profile with regular posts, before self-promoting, or your posts won't show up. Or ask someone to post it for you)

Well, I am dreaming big and want to get an offset print run done. Offset printing gives crisper details and a protective coating - it will be a commercial quality poster, and I will wind up with a whole bunch of them that I can distribute - but it's pricey to get done. It's kind of a risk because I will need to sell a lot of them to make it worthwhile, but I have high hopes. My file is 300 dpi at 36 inches wide, it's going to be awesome.

Thanks! A Beer Cup There will be posters available through the Kickstarter campaign, and after that on the website. Shipping will definitely be worldwide.

Ah yes, reddit, interesting place... nice. yep, it deserves the quaility you are heading for and kickstarter is a good way to reach that goal. I'll definitely back you!

also: those guys at reddit arguing that one of the greatest examples for fractals from the last months isn't a fractal because not endless - they won't be able to argue on you m-set-map..
And besides that , let them starve in the mathematical realms. wink i prefer to live in reality. where we can ovbserve fractals, no matter if some math-freaks don't want to call/define it that way. After that upped my blood pressure  fiery I upvoted everything good in that thread. which helped.. afro
