Problem with Navigator, Mandelbulb 3D.

Hi folks.
I have just downloaded Mandelbulb 3D and have a problem with the Navigator pane.
I put up a formula on the main page. I then hit "Navigator" to have a quick play. Save the new image to the main page, then mutate it.  I put the mutation back to the main page, but when I hit the Navigator button, the original pattern is still in the Navigator window. Is there a way to replace it with the new mutation please?

have you updated the parameters in the navigation window by inserting them back?
