3D Music video influenced by Bladerunner (mandelbulb3d generated)

Here's a project that took most of this year to render.
2 x aliasing and reflections were necessary for what I was after so that really upped the processing time!

99% of the content is straight from Mandelbulb3d.
Post work (colour/flares/DOF/editing) done in AE.

I'm glad this is over, and my desktop machine sure needs a break!
Needless to say, hit fullscreen and HD (or goto vimeo if HD doesn't show).
A good soundsystem will help you get full benefit of the music (sub bass especially)

Music: Sonical, one of my IDs for making experimental/adventurous electronic music.
The focus is on generative sounds, so a lot comes from Supercollider (software synthesis programming language)

I reckon you've done an absolutely amazing job with this production mate - all the time, creative effort
and patience you put in really shows in the finished product....and the music's not too shabby either!!!

Hi, thanks for the kind words..... ! It was one of those projects where you start and think.....yeah.... maybe a month and I'll be done.... which then becomes 3...6...and then you kind of forget everything else that's going on! Once I saw how nice it could look rendering at 2x1920x810 I couldn't do it any other way! If only I had a render farm for the next one ......
