i am very pleased to present you the mandelbrot tutorial, the numbering might confuse, but the tutorial is going to consist of 4 sections, and we start with a spin off from the last part: The Mandelbrot. This video explains what is going on underneath the surface of the mandelbrot iteration. Complex Multiplication, iteration, bailouting and all that stuff should become crystal clear by just watching the video enjoy!

Wow, it's done, and it was certainly worth the wait. You're not wrong about those translations. They're gorgeous. Hmm, you've only gone and got me feeling all inspired again.

too cool! I'll be watching that one a few more times I can't wait to see how you visualize perturbation maths. did the hair cream backfire or what ?

WOW! Visualizing the process is so helpful for a non-mathematician like me. Thank you so much. You're a gem! I'm looking forward to the next presentation.

Nice. Impatient to see the other parts. You elevate the meaning of "wow" to a new dimension Could you compare the quality of your local version of the clip with the one visible from YouTube? I had bad experience with all major video hosting sites -- they tend to re-encode the video and sometimes this ruins fractal videos. I'd expect that your local file is much clearer and sharper...

I'd expect that your local file is much clearer and sharper... the whole massive point visualisation is a codec killer in general, even my super computer here at home drops some frames in certain situations, but i used wmv as codec, because this is the fastest to encode, i dont know if mp4 would improve view performance and quality

Nice idea with the visualisation, inspired me to play again with some Buddhabrot variations, thank you :-)
