To anyone viewing my posts and finding missing/broken links to a website called www.needanother.co.uk, I still own the domain but recently cancelled my server (saving £30/month) so even though the domain address exists, it points nowhere.  I hope to one day sort something out but for now - sorry!

Thanks for the replies.

I used Fractal eXtreme.  I didn't feel the need to say so as I chose that option when adding the gallery images, even though they end up in "Image Showcase, Rate my Fractal" forum.

I did query this behaviour as when I upload gallery images into the FractInt gallery they appear in the FractInt|Gallery forum, and I thought the same would happen to images in the Fractal eXtreme gallery.

Oh well...

Stay tuned for the next file this evening or (tomorrow morning).

How many zooms to the minibrot?

Yes, there are a few inconsistencies within this forum, not only in the functioning but also in the attitudes and administration.   evil

I've not reached a minibrot yet, so no idea how long it's going to take.

This image is at 537 zooms deep, at around 26,000 iterations.

Picture 25 in the sequence is still generating and is currently at 654 zooms, just under 45,000 iterations, and has taken 3 hours 31 minutes to get to just 8% completed.

Mind you, there's two zoom movies generating and another deep image being generated as we speak (320x180 pixels, 3426 zooms and counting) where I'm trying to reach the 7,200 zoom limit by continual zooming into a hopefully interesting area, just to see what's there!)

Fractal Extreme is probably a great program, but...
I can render a HD movie to the minibrot in a couple of days with Kalles Fraktaler...
This image took 10 seconds in 960x540 resolution

I'm not trying to brag since all my credits goes to K.I.Martin for inventing and sharing SuperFractalThing, I did not discover that myself.
But I think you are wasting your time with Fractal Extreme...
