after upgrading mandelbulber to 1.12 i encountered some strange behavior of the background texture in the new version (see image below). a black gap appeared in renderings, most likely at the point, where the two ends of the texture meet. (i used a seamless sky texture so it looks like a gap within the image.) all attempts to cure this, by cropping and resizing failed. i had to downgrade to v 1.11 to finish the related animation. (i swear, i'll never upgrade again, while working on a projekt)

if you read this, buddhi, you might have a look, if you find the reason for this.

thanks in advance
taurus

Thank you for reporting this bug. It looks like something very important to fix as soos as possible. I have already found the problem in the code.  In last verson I tried to fix something to prevent accessing not allocated memory, but didn't though that this change would have influence on rendering results.
I will fix this in few days and release new packages.

I have just uploaded fixed program. Download it as usual from SourceForge http://sourceforge.net/projects/mandelbulber/
There should be no problem with background textures.
