So, I was wondering, how long are these last images taking to generate, and what are the iteration counts like?

To anyone viewing my posts and finding missing/broken links to a website called www.needanother.co.uk, I still own the domain but recently cancelled my server (saving £30/month) so even though the domain address exists, it points nowhere.  I hope to one day sort something out but for now - sorry!

Now just passing 200,000 iterations in the shallowest parts of the images. This one took about one and a half days on a 6-core AMD b0x:

Magnification exactly 10300.
That could be used to tighten my scale estimations, if only we knew 1st image scale, too.

Can you post a zoom-out from the first image so the animations can start from scratch? It should, literally, take almost no perceivable amount of time to render. Zooming in from the full set completes the sense of scale.

80. It's 80, versus 10300 for that octagonal seed-pod thing. smiley

I guess that can be arranged. Two more images ought to do it. And meanwhile ...

Sorry...blame Photobucket. You'll just have to trim everything after jpg somehow.
