Does anyone know a good OS X app to convert the sequential files output by mandelbulber to movie files. To my amazement a web search has turned up nothing that seems to work. I can do this in Photoshop CS Extended but it is a bit tedious or, if push comes to shove, I can use a Windows app in VMWare, but a native OS X straight meat in one end sausages out the other would be infinitely preferable.

Any suggestions? Preferably free or inexpensive .....  smiley

Yes thanks. Virtual dub is what I am presently using. I was hoping for something similar that wouldn't need me to fire up VMWare and go into Windows. That being said, virtual dub is indeed excellent and works fine. I guess I am just lazy .....  embarrass

If you are comfortable with the command line, there is ffmpeg, a suite of open source video codecs.

Hmmmm I have ffmpeg. It was the very first thing I tried. It won't accept a JPG sequence as input. I'll check if there is maybe an update that will.

FIJI - What an amazing looking app! A visual Swiss army knife. This is going to be far more use to me than simply converting sequential frames to video. Thank you so much for pointing me at this. Wonderful!!!!  smiley
