I just came across some news about fractal music in the "images des mathématiques" website, about a cycle of 5 pieces for string quartet called "Liturgia Fractal" by composer Alberto Posadas.
Each piece is inspired by a fractal structure. The third one, for instance, is inspired by the orbits of points of the mandelbrot set.
