A wonderful artist and active member of this particular forum has left, as i heard from user gfworld today.

A word from her husband:

"Please keep on remembering Titia for the lovely woman and wonderful artist she has always been ..."

Her main website:
    http://members.home.nl/titiavanbeugen/

One location for remembering her is her gallery of uploaded images to the gallery here, she contributed in the last 2 years Spring Fractal Art Contest, and last year made #1st place in all 3 categories!

A site for condolences from gfword ( Margit ) is:

Hi Christian & Paul,

I think you found a wonderful place for Link´s to Titia´s great artwork.

>a site for condolences from gfword ( margit ) is:

It´s not really a * condolence book * at last, but * GFW2x * will be a permanent part now at my website for Links to Titia´s
unforgettable work.

All I can do beside sorrow - I will never forget her.

What sad news to come back to after a prolonged absence.

I wish her family well, and will always remember her as one of the best!

I just had a nice idea.

Perhaps for the month of March the banner rotator up top should use only Titia's Banners as a Tribute to Ms. Van Beugen and all she gave the community.

The others can easily be restored later, and it would be a nice way to honor her contributions.

Any thoughts?

A very thoughtful idea, but not sure she had that many banners in which the forum is using.

Besides, the "bulbers" and "boxers" seem to want their work shown a lot more.   evil

Very sad to hear the news, and all the best to her family. The following are some of my favourites from an amazing fractal artist:

http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=508
http://home.hccnet.nl/titia.1/fractal/white.html
http://www.wack.ch/titia/Album/Feelings/photos/photo4.html
http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=265

That first one really is incredible; never seen it before today, but it combines so many elements of what I really love about fractals and art in general.

Yes, Titia had many good examples of fractal art-work!!!
And her three First Place winners from last year's contest represent some of her best (as the voters substantiated).

As newbie I walked through the gallery and was fascinated by the autstanding art work of titia van beugen.
Her fractals in the forum gallery and on other pages in the internet are masterpieces.

Tomorrow Titia would have celebrated her birthday.

I created this MBF Fractal for her, remembering this

day and a wonderful friend  smiley

The visual aspect of hearts and stars is very fitting for this remembrance of Titia.  She was a star in the fractal art community, and may she always be in all of our hearts.
