Hey there,

Im completely new to fractals, ive loved them for a long time now, most of my favourite images are fractals, and i thought its about time i tried my hand at it, if anyone knows any good guides for an absolute novice it would be much appreciated!

It's not too hard to use and creates some nice piccies and animations.

Try http://spanky.triumf.ca/www/fractint/getting.html for info on the classic fractal generator, FRACTINT and there is a lot of interesting info about fractals on that site too.
