Greetings everyone.  

Not sure what caught my eye yesterday initially, but at some point I was drawn in by the
incredible beauty of the Mandelbulb images by Kaeltyk, et al......mesmerizing!

Like Zaahukaanaah, I have a folder of fractal apps I've amassed over the years, but
only dabbled in basic fractals...most of my experience is with 3D programs like Carrara,
C4D, ZBrush, and lately Blender.

I'd like to try some 3D fractal animation.....right now all the variables are a bit overwhelming.

I'm very sorry to have missed Titia......was admiring her beautiful works as well. Will spend more
time viewing her posts and artwork.

I lost a great Carrara friend & mentor last year so know the feeling and share your sense of loss even
though I never knew Titia.

On a lighter note, here's something that has absolutely nothing
to do with fractals or 3D......turn up the volume, get a friend and have a good laugh together.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I too use Carrara and a few other 3D apps, and working Mandelbulbs/Boxes into them is always a challenge.

I lost a great Carrara friend & mentor last year so know the feeling and share your sense of loss even
though I never knew Titia.

That wouldn't be Brian (Rhodes?)  (he went by "bwtr" on the site) from the Carrara Forums, would it?  He was a great contributor and will be missed.  And yes, Titia is missed   

And your name is familiar from there too!  (I think the "j" is missing from that site though, so you may not be the person I'm thinking of)  (But I am the same Sockratease from over at the Daz3D forums   ).
