Hi all!  I am glad to be here, seeing many people dedicated to such an obscure hobby.  I have been toying with fractals for about a year now, and thought that I would share some types of fractals that I have not seen on this form.  I like what I suppose should be called unmolested fractals -- those which come straight from the function generator with no Photoshop enhancements (except for brightness/colors).  Remember the good ol' logistic map, or Henon map? (see Wikipedia)  The same class of iterated functions can be extended into 3D, and generate some quite striking images.  Here are two of an equation I came up with, each figure has slightly different parameter values.

I think that these fractals/ chaotic attractors are very beautiful and I enjoy discovering them.  Again I am glad to be a part of this community and I hope that this forum can continue to find new and exciting fractal related majesty!
