I'm new to the Forum, excited about the possibilities
I am am an artist by profession in the traditional medias including leather works and silver jewelry design
with a past life in computer art & web design.

and interested in learning Mandelbulb 3D
I have the program and just in the beginning of animation and video
things I am interested in learning are rendering techniques and also Morphing the fractal as the camera flys through.

I assume that would require changing the formulas at particular keyframe times during the flythrough.


any leads to past threads on these topics would be welcomed.
I am not proficient in the math required to design fractals on my own but I can certainly play the hack in that area lol.


anyway thanks for having me here and I'm looking forward to sharing my trip.

here are  some of my previous Photoshop works that lead my mind to be interested in taking it to the next level of 3d.

thses were created solely in photoshop with a few moves using the basic stock filters in PS.














I have a bunch more of course but I don't want to abuse the thread.

Copy them to the clipboard and find the button marked "txt" in M3D. Press it, then press Calculate 3D. Nice images BTW and Welcome!
