Hi

My name is Alf and for some weird reasons I've been obsessed with fractals since I was a teenager. I resently discovered all those totally amazing mandelbulb/box videos on youtube and that just blew my mind of excitement! So my goal now is to dig further into that and try to make some videos and study the mathematical formulas...
I'm currently working as a computer game programmer (
http://snowcastle.no/) and love my job. I've studied math/physics/computers/astronomy/chemistry/etc on university some years ago..
Any good books out there on the subject of mandelbulb/box?
Fractals is to me almost a religion, it gives me a totally new way of perceiving and understanding things around me on all macro/normal/micro scales! Without the idea of fractal geometry I would not have my current understanding of reality. While watching the mandelbulb/box videos I realized that that is currently the best way to really try to understand infinity contained by a horizon, or the place where chaos meets order and vice versa. Does anyone else feel that fractal science goes way beyond math and art?
Nice to join here, I've read a lot about this forum while recently updating myself on whats going on, and I'll probably bug you guys with questions as time pass
