Melting Mandelbox

Melting Mandelbox. Generalized box fold with rounded corners and sides.

Made with a hacked version of mandelbulber. My image merge script needs some work but it turned out interesting anyway.

Nice!... What happens if you give the 'rounding' a negative value?  afro

The melting model involves defining a surface that is a fixed distance from the cube. Corners become spheres, edges become tubes and faces remain planes. Applying the same rule with a negative value would just give a smaller cube.
