Posting Errors on the server?

I get this error trying to post in the "Images Showcase lately:

Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /index.php could not be found on this server.

Apache/1.3.39 Server at www.fractalforums.com Port 80

I can post this, obviously, but the error is consistent and repeatable in the Image Showcase section. 

I may post something elsewhere as a test...

Anyone else getting this?

hmm i wonder whether the recent upgrade has anything to do with that spam post getting through? is all the spam protection still active?

i've nuked the post and banned the account, along with all email addresses from that domain.

OK...  Still can't create a thread in the other forums.

Same error occurs.

I'll go test an old thread and see what happens.

Can't even reply to a thread there! Can anyone else post there...  Besides admin?

Narrowed it down.

I just can't post pictures anywhere, not even here.

But I was able to preview replies in the art area without images.

There must be more to it, but I'm on lunch and must dash...
