How do you, or can you in mandelbulb 3d do power?

Not sure I understand the question...There are all kinds of Power bulb formulas in the formula libraries, CoPow2 or 8, Bensi Power bulbs IntegerPower and FoldingIntPower formulas with selectable power from 2-8, TetraPow, SinePow, there is Power everywhere in MB3D.

I think he's just looking for a bulb which allows you to change the power.  If so RealPower allows you to set any power.  I hope this answers your question.

I was thinking of a 'power series' formula, that allows to calculate expressions like...

Z = a Z8 + b Z7 + c Z6 ... + h Z + i C ( + l Z*C + m Z2*C if remains room for some more vars )

But I was thinking that nobody would care of it, or?

I was motly just curiou, I remember a power setting on mandelbulber, and saw 2 folders on Devianart in one of the program folders, for mandelbulb power 2 and power 8 so thought maybe there was a setting to chose the power in mandelbulb 3d.

There is.

Did you try typing a new number in the "Power" space of the Formula Tab?

That's how you change all such parameters in M3D.

You can type any value you like, just be careful about decimal powers in the Integer Power bulb.  Use the Real Power bulb for decimal power.
