I have to confess...

It was I who kept rejecting your membership because our spammer database showed your username (or email) as being associated with a known spammer.  The database is a professional service we subscribe to here because we get Very Many spambot and human spammer accounts. 

It cuts back on the problem dramatically, but apparently is not flawless.

At least you knew to make contact, and that's all that was needed to fix the problem.

If you have similar problems at other sites, contact them and say that you are not a spambot, and have no idea how you got on the list.

How this could happen? When you google for 'dwsel' it's all me there... Is there anything I can do to be excluded from that database?

I've been trying to register at one pretty good level architectural forum for almost half of the year - the same thing - no account confirmation from forum, no reply from administrator to my two emails. I'm not sure if the second mail helped or simply account expired after such a long time without logging in... Then I was finally able to re-register there with the same name and the same e-mail.

Anyway... Now I've already started to spam your forum badly

How this could happen? When you google for 'dwsel' it's all me there... Is there anything I can do to be excluded from that database?

It could happen for a wide variety of reasons, but the only reason I know for sure is that at least one site operator, somewhere, reported either the user name, or the email address  (or both).  It's possible that somebody was using the same name despite what google says  (they are not even really a search engine)  (but don't get me going on my "Boycott google" speeches - few people like them!) and the other person is what got reported.  To test that, try joining that other forum you mentioned with either a different user name, a different email, or both.

I can contact the developer of the forum plug-in software about how to get you off the list, but they may just be tapping into yet another person's database.  That may complicate things.  But I'll certainly see if anything can be done.

there is another database hoster we are using here, but i am not sure which one it is, on the above site you can remove yourself from the database

To test that, try joining that other forum you mentioned with either a different user name, a different email, or both.

What you suggest can be the reason that could get me into this trouble. Once I couldn't wait for confirmation email and created in short time another account with different name and different email (fake antispam alias) to check if its not the case of blocking me, obviously from the same ISP and probably from the same IP (even though I have provider giving dynamic IPs). Meh...  don't really want to discuss this topic anymore if that could give me even more trouble...

I'm not sure if I want to do that then Definitely I don't want to change my email address when it will somehow be blacklisted forever. I've been investigating if anyone could get into my email, but it's very, very unlikely... I access my inbox via providers' www, haven't got problems with viruses for several years, change password every few months...
