So, I'd really like to know what all you old hands think of my first tries smiley

http://mandelubber.blogspot.com/2011/06/fractal-art-start.html

Since I posted that, I've become disillusioned with the Blackhole one... Don't like the colours AT ALL anymore. But still in love with the other two smiley Very proud of my first Mandlebulb attempt.

Anyway, what do you all think? And any tip/tricks you could share with a fellow fractalnaut? smiley

My advice is that if you want art that looks photorealistic, use mandelbulber. Also, mandelbulber's depth of field effect can make things look almost real, and mandelbulber in general looks better than mandelbulb 3D.

Hehe... My my, hard critique there! ... Thing is, I'm loving Mandelbulb 3D so much.

But I certainly do intend to try out Mandelbulber, and make a tutorial for it too smiley
