Hello all,

Firstly wanted to say that I loved reading through this forum. What a great community, what a great topic! Well my interest in fractals started a few months ago and I was very proud when I wrote my first fractal generator (in Java) and actually understood what was happening.  It run's exceptionally well on my development computer and I can get great quality, nearly instant (<100ms) results. Last night I deployed the results of tinkering to my new website. This morning I found that it doesn't run the same on other machines.

Could you please spare a few minutes and check out Fractacular.

It is currently licensed free-ware but will probably go open source when I am happy with it.

If you experience any problems please post your

Any constructive comments/feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

The zoom-out function does not seem to work properly, for me at least.  It merely makes the image narrower.

The link in the body of your post is broken (has some extra quotes). Zooming in works, zooming out distorts the fractal. When I move the mouse over the fractal, there is a lot of flickering as the white box is being redrawn. Win7 64 bit, Firefox 3.6. Java 6, update 24.

Good 1st try!
