Not being a mathematician, I have no clue whatsoever about how to control the amount of light from the positional lights.  I'm wondering if this could be put on a slider or something that we can all understand?

The notation is quite simple: the number to the right of the letter "E", means the number of decimal places (zeroes) to move... positive if we are adding zeros to the right, negative if we are adding zeros to the left of a fractional number.

Example:

2E5 means 2 + five zeros to the right = 200000
2E-5 means five zeroes to the left of a fractional number = 0.00002

You always can use just normal notation (2 - 0.1 - 1.5 - and so on), but the program then converts to this notation.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Kali - it makes more sense now.  I'll give it a shot when I get home.   happy

But I also think it should be better to have just a slider for that  wink

Move pos lights away from the surface of the fractal or inside it and you will get a disco effect afro

Hmmm.  I have been thinking of using positional lights instead of direct colour to see if I can create a more ambient effect.  Might be interesting!
