Great patterns! I see devilish faces.

You've used an interesting combination of formulas. From your wording I assume you first applied Mandelbrot on real numbers, followed by ballfold. Did you also try reversing that order?

Yes! I'm trying a lot of combinations and paramameters... too much exploring for today!  head batting

This one uses the inverse combination:



Also I used the checkerboard coloring method, and some postprocessing in PS

Very nice. I'm imagining two men with daggers menacing a third man, located in the middle.
