Good morning from Brisbane in Australia.  I have a query concerning the lights in Mandelbulb.  Can someone tell me if it is possible to set the position of the lights themselves rather than the lights overall effect.  My purpose is to try and create a spotlight effect as you would see on say a stage or concert hall where the lights would originate from different angles and intersect with objects in their path and cast shadows.  Any suggestions would be most welcome.

You have the choices of Global Lighting or Positional Lights for each light. Also on Positional lights you have the choice of having the source position Visible or not as well as intensity and color. There are not however visible Ray or Cone effects for the Positional lights, just the surface/aera, you can also set the positional inside solids for glow and behind for backlighting.

Thanks for the info.  I was afraid that would be the case.

I should have added that Shadowcasting is available in MB3D using the Postprocessing of Hard Shadows. You can select a single or multiple lights from where the shadows are to be cast.
