Reverse naming a sequence of pictures?

I'm making an animation: The first 100 pics zoom in, while the next 100 pics zoom back out.
I'm trying to avoid rendering a set of pictures in this animation which is simply the reverse; zooming back out of the first 100 picture sequence.
If I make a copy of the first 100 pics, is there a DOS global rename command, or a windows renaming utility, that might help me with this task?
