These are stunning images!  I love your Apophysis work.  I've recently started trying Apophysis 7x, but I rely on the mutation tool and would love to learn how to control the parameters more directly.  If you've got any advice, I'd love to hear it.  Beautiful work!!!

Yeah, a comment. So Apo is a really fun program, I actually never use the mutation tool, its to unpredictable for me at least. Its not necesary to have a lot of triangles in the transform editor to pull out a nice fractal, the Apophysis7x-100714-11 image that i have there has just have three triangles and an x-final. Mmm... i dont really know what to say, a good way to have control is to know what effect does each variation, and put the mayor weight (in the option weigth)  on the triangle that have the main variation. Something like that. And gradients really change the structure of your fractal. Sorry for not explain very well, I speak spanish lol. I have an easy parameter that may help you.

Thanks for that.  Your English is fine and you explained it well.  I'll take those parameters home to study and see what I can come up with.  Have fun!   happy

Fragments of the fractal -like the tip of it

Apophisis?
Everytime that I get a good image with it it looks like a mess of lines rather than a fractal.
When I follow tutorials I get the same images that I see everyday in Deviantart and I am tired of that... So I abandoned it sad

I agree it's difficult to get anything amazing, but you can see from these examples that when you do it properly, the effect is pretty incredible!
