If you live in the Paris area in France or if you are in Paris these days, I have the pleasure to invite you to the "varnishing" of my first exhibition on Thursday, January the 27th. This is a private event organised by a friend of mine at the ESMA (European Society for Mathematics and Arts, http://www.mathart.eu/). I have printed about 30 of my best pictures (designed mostly in Mandelbulb3D but also in Ultrafractal) in large formats and on high quality supports and will exhibit a dozen of them. Please send me a PM for the details if you wish to pass by and say hello. The exhibition might last for a few days, by appointment only.

bib, this is a great piece of news and at the same time I feel so bad, because I'm too far from there sad

Would you consider making a small on-line version of the gallery?

For my last exhibition I added such a e-gallery just for all those who were pysically unable to come - it is nothing special, just few pictures from the hall and the posters(http://mandelbrot-set.elica.net/).

BTW what paper did you use? Glossy photo paper gives more vibrant colours and sharp shapes, but can "capture" fingerprints and are not suitable if there are unavoidable light reflections. Matte, on the other hand, makes no reflection and fingerprints, but is ... not glossy.

Anyway, good luck with your exhibition!

Too bad sad but there will be other occasions in the future hopefully.

I might create a section on my DA account with the pictures I will exhibit. Depending on available time of course.
I have printed my pictures on a combination of interesting materials. As this is the first time I do this, I'm trying several options, and the best I have found so far is to print them on fine art paper on Dibond, covered with Plexiglas. It gives a glossy aspect and brings depth to the image. Very professional looking.

Thank you all for the encouragements, and see you for the world tour! cheesy
