it is due to a little log data deleting, wasnt sure what effect it would have, i removed 15 mb of log files in the db, it should normalize in a few days...
sorry for inconvenience!
as far as i can see it is showing all the posts from your last login, without regarding that you already viewed them

To avoid this, we can use the 'Mark All Messages as Read' Button in the index page.
