Mandelbox with very low scale values

I am not sure if this is the right subforum, but here are some somewhat unusual renderings of the Mandelbox with very low scale values:

Scale=1.1, frad=2.13, mrad=0.25


Scale=-1.1, frad=1.0, mrad=0.5


Scale=0.9, frad=1.0, mrad=0.5 (This probably shouldn't really work, and I am not entirely sure what this is supposed to be, but here it is anyway):


The scale 1.1 Mandelbox is generally very dense, as in, it's only really possible to scratch the surface, and there isn't much of an interior structure. It also somewhat resembles a very high power Mandelbulb (~power 100) as there are very repetitive structures with slowly changing size.
The scale -1.1 Mandelbox is not so different, but overall slightly less dense. There are also some unusual looking solid structures, for example a structure which looks like a cube but has more than 6 sides (it's slightly left of the center of the picture).
The scale 0.9 Mandelbox... well, there are some sphere-like structures with odd patterns on top of them. As expected, normal distance estimations mostly fail here, but for values only slightly below 1, they can still be used to an extend with enough iterations.
