This isn't mine.  I found it on YouTube.  I was considering putting it in the humor forum, because the opening 1:30 is so dramatically presented it made me laugh.  However, there are some stunning images, both zooms in and out, and they go well with the music of Strauss.

Nice, but I can't watch it.  The music is out of sync with the slideshow.

It stays black for awhile, as Strauss builds in intensity.  Then, the mighty Mandelbrot Set comes into view, 2001 sun over the monolith style.  If you're just seeing black at first, that's why.

Maybe my old Mac was not viewing the movie correctly.  I apologize.  The frames were not black but very slow, like watching a slideshow.  I would watch it on my PC that is much faster but after trying to install Ubuntu on it, I lost my DVD player and my RAID1 configuration.
